Mum and the D-Guy decided to go back to the Olympic Village open houses today,
Seeing how I passed out the day before because of the heat, they decided to bring MY SuperSTROLLER today!!
There were no police cars at the entrance today. Protesters must be gone then,
One of the many condominium buildings that was used to house athletes during the 2010 Winter Olympics/Paralympics,
These K9 Security Units were still slacking off today, no K9's visible whatsoever, not even in the car!
Then, I couldn't help but notice something at the center of the Olympic Village. Something very BIG!
It's a GODZILLA sparrow!!
Actually, I'm not sure what kind of GODZILLA birdie it is, I'm no birdie expert...
I don't really know why they're (there were two of them) in the middle of the Olympic Village either,
GODZILLA Sparrow bum,
The line up into the open houses were quite long, so mum and the D-Guy decided to walk around the Village first. Again, another K9 patrol with no K9 patrolling. Maybe that's just their company name?
These condos were right by the water, so we took a little walk along the seawall,
See the white dome shaped building the red arrow is pointing at? That Canada Hockey Place, where most of the Men's Olympic Hockey was held,
This is a aboriginal metal art statue of the Canadian maple leaf,
We walked over the bridge,
And D-Guy got tired. I was going to offer him my SuperSTROLLER, unfortunately tho, the weight limit for my SuperSTROLLER was only 165 lbs.... so he's like way over that.....
He crashed on one of those GODZILLA tanning chairs. I thought I'd be a good gurrrrl and stay with him in case he got nightmares about all the GODZILLA stuff around here,
As expected, the nightmare got him. He grabbed me for comfort, and I stood by his side like a good dale should,
When the nightmare passed, I went and laid down where I could keep an eye on him, while enjoying the view of downtown Vancouver across the water.
The red arrow below is pointing at BC Place, where the opening, closing, and celebration ceremonies took place during the 2010 Winter Olympics. The roof had since been taken off and a new one will go up later on. The blue arrow points at the Vancouver Convention Center. That was the Media Center where all the local, and international broadcast stations were during the Olympic Games.
This is the Science World, where kids and adults can go and get engaged in science and future technologies,
D-Guy started smiling in his sleep, no more nightmares I guess. Bet he's drooling too, usually that comes with his smiling.
I waited a little longer by his side,
Then I decided it was ok to wake him up and get going!
Back over the bridge we went,
It was time for the hoomans to check out the open houses, and that meant........
SuperSTROLLER TIME!!!!!
Mum usually brings me everywhere, but she decided that it was best for me to stay outside in my SuperSTROLLER while they took turns to go check out the open houses. My SuperSTROLLER is quite wide, so mum didn't think it was a good idea in a small crowded place.
I didn't mind, I'd much rather to be outside then somewhere crowded.
Mum went in first. She saw this place, a 987 sqf, 2 Bedroom + Den condo on the 4th floor,
The kitchen, dining room, livingroom. Door to the right with blue wall painting is the master bedroom.
The small second bedroom, and the bathroom,
You wanna take a guess at the asking price???
1.3 MILLION Cdn thank you very much!
No wonder those people were protesting yesterday!!!!!
D-Guy went to see another one while mum stayed with me. This one was very nice, and quite a bit bigger than the last one,
He didn't even bother asking the price for this one!
imagine how many strollers, meds and treats you can buy for a million bucks!

Hi Sunshade!
ReplyDeleteJake kept going back to look at those SuperBirdies. He is a SuperBirdieHunter. Or at least he thinks he is.
ReplyDeleteMoma and I will have to go back and check out the condos once he's fallen asleep. It's always fun to dream.
