Darwin's taking to whining now for everything! She's becoming a different dog since all this started.
Thanks to your mom for her input! It sucks because our pet insurance, as much as I think they are great, doesn't cover holistic treatment so it'd be out of pocket. Which we'd do if it makes her feel better, but booo to insurance for that.
Tell your mom her little tidbit of trying to cook kibbles in the rice cooker gave me a good giggle.
Oh and one more thing!
We didnt go anywhere this weekend! If we knew Miss Sunshade was coming down to Seattle we would've met up!
We are going up to Vancouver Island for the holiday weekend (staying at Cougars Crag).

Sunshade! I can sometimes make that whining sound too. Doesn't work though.
I am aloof about being petted too. The evaluator decided that I didn't like doing therapy work. Mom knows that is just me. I'm just not very demonstrative, but I do like being petted.

"No more table scraps"?!? "No more TABLE scraps"!?!? What's the deal with THAT?!! Storm and I totally feel for you - we're both on very restricted diets, so we don't get any. Not that we got much to start with. Well, I can still have bananas and Storm can have a slice or two of carrot.... but sheeesh, Mom's relentless with this!
I hope you're OK. It was sure great hearing from you, "old" friend!

we saw your comment that you were in Everett and Redmond. NO WAY! that's where we live! we live in Everett and hang out at our dog park in Redmond! OMD! if you are ever in our neighborhood again we insist that you come visit us and we can hang out and do fun stuff and play and scratch and sniff and do pee-mail and bark and get treats and dig and roach and stuff..... okay? promise!
Baxter is doing about the same. he got a massage this week which made him feel lots better. he has good days and not-so-good days. we're still waiting for his final diagnosis - the 2nd 2nd opinion wasn't what we expected and the 2nd 2nd vet didn't get to see the MRI images yet cuz the stupid neuro vet messed up.
if you want to hear all of the sad details, we could get our mom to email your mom. our silly mom doesn't want to post all of this boring kind of stuff on our blog, except for little bits of it occasionally. she's weird. humans. hrmph. what can you do?
