WAIT
I usually don't like to share my blog and let STINKY show off. But I'll make one exception today because ...... ummm... well.. he kinda deserves it... I guess.
Remember a while ago in one of my posts, I showed you a video of me performing my "WAIT" command at a curb.
(Keep in mind I have been doing this since I was a puppy, so a lot of the times, I stop automatically at curbs without having to be given the "WAIT" command)
I said mum was trying to teach STINKY this, but back then, he was hopeless. He couldn't even walk properly on leash.
Anyway, this is what STINKY does now. It only took him 4 longish leash walks to learn the command (once his brain started to comprehend that is).
So yea... okay.. I admit.. I am a proud Aunt/sister. Notice Veronica was letting the leash slack, she wasn't tugging at all. STINKY stopped on his own upon hearing the "WAIT" command given by MY Veronica.
Oh, and that harness STINKY was wearing is called a SENSE-ation Harness. It stops him from pulling. He wrote about it more on his blog with video demonstrations. If you're a puller, you should go check it out!

It's an important lesson to learn. I do get fed up of being made to sit at every kerb, but I know that cars can be dangerous. Jaffa is a good boy to have learned, & I'm sure watching you has helped!

I am excellent at my wait command also. Except that I can't be let off lead when outside because I'll bolt! (heheheh!)
Anyway, I've been trying to teach it to my very own stinky too- Finnegan.

Hmmm...this must be only a woofie thing...we do not like to "WAIT"...we do not like to take commands at all!
He probably learned that from watching you- you are a great role model! I think maybe you have taken a liking to Stinky but just won't admit it. Do you think you will be lonely when he leaves for his forever home?
