English Bay

It was such a gorgeous day, I had a hard time sitting at home doing nothing while waiting for my strained groin muscle to heal. So I sulked here, sulked there, sulked upstairs (mum: and got stuck), sulked in the garage beside Georgie, and FINALLY, mum gave in.... (mum: sigh.. bad mummy, she should've really been resting...)

Mum and Veronica talked, and they decided to take me and STINKY to English Bay - the beach across the water from MY beach (Kits Beach). Usually, there are not nearly as many dogs at English Bay as Kits beach, so mum thought it would be a good place for me since I wouldn't be running around with other dogs. (mum: she still has the strained Iliopsoas (groin) muscle)

Ahhhhhhh......beeeeeeeeeeeach!!!!


I was being a good girl, trotting up and down the beach minding my own business with my RING in my mouth (of course) when somebody decided he was gonna take my RING!!!




Didn't he know the whole point of going to English Bay was because mum didn't want me to run or do all the twists and turns when other dogs try to steal MY RING?????

Not only was he being incosiderate (you know, not allowing my strained muscle to rest), he came from ALL directions.

He came from the FRONT (as a kangaroo - the animal he was named after),


He came from the RIGHT,


He came from the LEFT,

(just look at my squinting face, he missed my ring, almost gave me an ear piercing!)


He came from BEHIND,


Now really, I have blown him up from the above picture, doesn't he look like he's got rabies??


(mum: your own position isn't that much BETTER...hehehe)


Anyway, finally, I decided the only way to get rid of him was to do this

(I wanted them to notice my RING so I barked, and when they came close, I scared them away!!!!!)

However, when STINKY stopped chasing me for my RING, I stopped feeling special. So I went and taunted him.....hehe..

I went up to him with my RING in my mouth and pushed into him while wagging my tail,


Or, I taunted him like this!!!


I loved it! You know, me taunting, him chasing, and yet never been able to get a hold of MY RING...

Until.......

See here, I was zen-ing, yes, I do that sometimes.


I just sit quietly and look out to the ocean. People always stop to ask mum what I'm doing, because there could be lots of dogs playing behind me, and yet, I would just sit there and ZENNNNN. No wonder my Aire-Zens are always so powerful!

Mum, disrupted my zen-ing by throwing a rock.....


Not only did she disrupt my very important Aire-Zen recharging time, this ended up happening as a result!!!!

ARGH!!!!!

It didn't take long tho before he decided to put some disgusting seaweed in his mouth and let go of my RING.


MY Veronica found a nice stick, since MY Veronica found it, it was MINE!




I wanted the stick, but I also wanted my RING at the same time,


So this ended happening,


And yes, I was very satisfied!!


Some people call it being greedy, I call it........

BEING AN AIREDALE!!!
